Principle Software Engineer
As a Software engineer this individual will be responsible for design, development, unit test and integration of modules and features for the Cyber Forensics platform. This is a hands-on position requiring exposure to the full software development life cycle, strong technical and programming background combined with the capability and experience of leading and mentoring other engineers
Required skill set
10+ years of experience
Active or prior US Government security clearance is a plus
Experience developing Layer 3-7 networking products or software applications
Knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, POP3, SMTP, IMAP4, SIP, and H323 desirable
Knowledge of protocols and access methods using by popular social media applications is desirable.
In depth knowledge of Solaris/UNIX OS and development experience required
Leadership ability to mentor and lead junior developers and deliver quality products on time
Strong Linux system development: Interprocess communication: sockets, pipes, shared memory multithreading: thread start/finish, mutexes, condition variables;
Education:BSCS or equivalent in an engineering discipline required, advanced technical degree desirable
